Started off a little heated with confusion with the pre ordering first waitress was very rude however another lady whom I guess was a manager took over and sorted it and the young lady who did look after us called Steph was so good nothing was to much trouble and made us feel better after the not so good start. Would like to thank Steph so much

We were served by Summer at Tumbkedown farm Ego . She was so efficient pleasant nothing was no trouble . I will certainly coming back soon . The meal was excellent xxxx

We had an amazing time ( as always ) at ego this evening. The food was incredible, fast service, and our server kanye was incredible- Super friendly, prompt, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience:) Thank you everyone!

Easy to find and get to, on the A5, near Cannock. Big car park with plenty of room. Warm welcome on arrival. Comfortable seats and a decent amount of room around the table. Service was good from a pleasant young lady. Good range of meals on the menu. Food was presented well and tasted good ( duo of pork). So why not 5 stars? Atmosphere was spoilt by a smell of kitchen smoke. Food could have been a little bit hotter. One member of the team didn't smile. Still we enjoyed our visit and would return.

March 1st 2025: Had the steak for the first time, really impressed. Decent sized portions. Staff friendly and helpful as usual. Gypsy and Sam smashing the cocktails. Great night as always. December 24th 2024: Great food, Great Service, thank you Nerrisa and co. November 27th 2024: Emily offered great service, which as you can tell from our continued return is no surprise for Tumbledown farm. Smashed it Em. May 29th: gave another chance, Gypsy-May saved your bacon. Credit to your servers. May 2024: 1 star Called up to ask about food, was told could arrive 9;45pm. Rude staff wouldn't even acknowledge us, waited until kitchen had turned off and then declined to serve. Way to fuck up our romantic place. 2024 valentines: Gypsy-Mae what a star. We attended in 2023 for Valentine's and she served us then, 12 months later and we were thrilled to be served by her again. This year's valentines definitely ran smoother for the restaurant compared to last which you can tell is purely down to the supply issues that they had last year causing them havoc, they nailed it out of the park last year despite those issues and nailed it again this year. I was very happy to have a meal with my loved one and very grateful for the perfect service Gypsy-Mae provided again this year. A credit to your business and should be given all the praise possible. See you again next year for our couples tradition, and see you again soon for the steak deals! 2023 valentine's: Must have been a tough night but you pulled through. When a delivery goes wrong and it causes an issue it's either fight or flight and you persevered and made a very special night for our valentines. Please ensure all your staff efforts are noticed.

Tonya really looked after us today. It was busy and apparently the restaurant was short staffed, but you’d never had known it! She was polite, courteous and jolly. It was a lovely lunch, food was fab too. Thank you all but especially Tonya 😁😁

This review is a little late as me and my boyfriend visited the day after valentines, We were served by a young girl however we were unable to get her name. You could tell that the restaurant was understaffed on this night which, as a person who works in hospitality myself, i completely understand. The wait times due to this were higher than expected however we did not complain and the manager approached us to apologise as well as giving us a discount due to this. This shows a care for their customers and ownership which i have to praise. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive to detail. I will definitely be attending in the future.

Had a great time at Tumbledown Farm. Amazing service from Kanyé and Aaliyah, both of them were really attentive and accommodating to our needs and allergies. Lovely ambiance and a great birthday dinner!
